Lakshmi menon after her Kumki will be a part of this movie set in Village milieu. The pair are reprising their chemistry after their previous outing.
The movie is slated for a May 30 release and expectations are slowly building up as Red Giants have taken up the distribution task. The movie is to be directed by Mutthiah who was a former associate of Bhoopathy pandian.
Village theatres are producing this movie after a successful venture with Vagai Sooda Vaa.Vaagai Sooda Vaa had Ghibran crooning the music with some spellbound music numbers and he has given some classic village melodious numbers here as well.
The story is set in and around the temple town of Sriveliputur and is supposed to be a love story with a twist. When quizzed about this movie to Sasikumar he reveals that movies where love can change the world are not something new, and here is a violent man who drops his knife to take a rose in his hand. Also said to be a female centric movie which has a lot of values clubbed in it.
Though the audio launch was a quite affair, the movie’s distribution rights was bagged for a hefty price and theatrical rights are bang on as well. Albeit the this emotional action packed movie is slated for a May 30 release.

The film’s score and soundtrack are composed by M Ghibran along with lyricist Vairamuthu after their critically acclaimed album ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa‘. Saregama south has bagged the audio rights of Kuutipuli. The soundtrack was released on May 20th 2013.
